Mr Jack Tyler

President of Kent Schools Athletics Association, Jack graduated from Brunel University in 2010 with a BSc in Sport Science, before completing a degree in teacher training at Canterbury Christchurch University.

He went on to teach in the state sector for five years. Jack, 31, was Year 7 Deputy Head at The Howard School, where he had responsibility for pastoral care, as well as a PE teacher.

Jack joined Gad’s Hill in 2015 as a PE master, to manage boys’ games from Lower School through to Upper School. He continues to lead the Gad’s Hill GCSE PE cohort.

Appointed Head of Upper School in 2018, Jack is responsible for the day-to-day running of Lower Shell to U5th (Years 7-11) and the smooth transition from primary to secondary education.

Jack has a keen interest in all sports and a particular passion for athletics and cross country.
