At Gad’s Hill we aim to enable our pupils to enjoy school and to achieve good academic qualifications. We also endeavour to develop those personal attributes and qualities which will help guide them on their journey through life. It is our intention that our pupils leave Gad’s Hill as pleasant, articulate, mature, confident and self-reliant young people who are well equipped to achieve a place at university or succeed in a career of their choice.

We remain committed to keeping class sizes small and rarely exceed 20 children in a class. Our smaller class sizes allow us to have greater knowledge of our pupils. With more time available to spend with each child we are able to gain a very clear insight into their individual strengths and weaknesses ensuring they make strong academic progress. We become knowledgeable of their individual interests and personality traits which has a positive effect on their personal development. These benefits combined with the additional opportunities available for our pupils such as the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) in the Senior School and our own onsite Forest School for the younger pupils makes Gad’s Hill a number one choice for many families.

We do hope that you are encouraged to visit us and experience for yourself the wonderful close-knit community that we have here at Gad’s Hill School.

Whilst there are three main entry points for the school (Nursery/KN, Reception/KR and Year 7/Shell), we welcome applications for all other year groups providing there is space. The recent expansion of the Junior School for example has enabled us to offer more places for Year 3 – 6 whilst remaining committed to keeping our class sizes small.
Please contact the Admissions Manager, Mrs Marks to discuss the availability for your child.
