School uniform can be purchased either from the Sewing Shop in Gravesend or from our very own, well stocked pre-loved uniform hut available here at the school.

Lower School: KR (Reception) to K2 (Year 2)

Winter Uniform

Pinafore Uniform

Pinafore – Cladish tartan pinafore, to be worn no higher than two inches above the knee or lower
Hat – Straw boater plus brown & old gold band
Socks/Tights – Dark brown tights or brown socks
Optional – Brown Cardigan

Trouser Uniform

Trousers – Dark brown long trousers
Hat – School cap in brown with school badge
Socks – Brown or black with long trousers, Brown socks with shorts

Pinafore and Trousers Uniform

Blazer – Brown wool with old gold trim, school badge on pocket
Shirt – Tussore (cream) buttoned (not open necked) – Long sleeved (winter) short sleeved (summer)
Jersey – Brown V-necked with gold trim
Tie – House Ties – Haig (blue stripe), Wellington (green stripe), Beatty (red stripe). Ties to be worn sufficiently long enough to touch the waistband of skirt/trousers
Shoes – Brown or black, traditional, low heeled (and polished!)
Coat – Black, waterproof coat with detachable lining,
Optional – Scarf – Brown knitted scarf with embroidered school badge

Summer Uniform

Dress – Gad’s Hill regulation summer dress (with Velcro/zip fastening)

PE Hoodie – Gad’s PE hoodie – essential for KN children if they attend on a Friday as they come into school in PE kits ready for Forest School. House colour plus initials

Baseball Cap – Maroon Legionnaire Style only available from the Sewing Shop
Bag – Maroon draw string PE bag only available from the Sewing Shop – pupil’s initials in House colours will be embroidered on to the bag

Waterproofs Black/Navy waterproof jackets and trousers for Forest School. This is as well as the Gad’s waterproof jacket – Black, waterproof coat with detachable lining
