A Gad’s Hill Junior schoolgirl has been signed by Arsenal F.C. for the third year running.
Ten-year-old Stevie Sinclair, from Dartford, is a member of the Premier League football club’s Under 11 squad.
Stevie previously represented Millwall F.C., after being spotted by a team scout at a holiday football camp, before joining the Arsenal Academy aged seven. The striker was also the youngest girl to represent Dartford District School’s FA, where she won the Chairman’s Award for her outstanding performances.
Stevie’s family remember her being interested in football as soon as she could walk and her ambition has always been to play for Arsenal W.F.C. and the ‘Lionesses’ (England women’s national football team).
Stevie’s Form Tutor, Mrs Joanne Titler, said: “We are all very proud of Stevie’s success.
“At Gad’s Hill we celebrate our children’s personal achievements both within and outside the classroom and such an achievement is testament to Stevie’s sporting prowess and dedication to football.”
“When Stevie isn’t playing with classmates on the field at break and lunch times, she can always be found on the school’s football pitch!”
