A group of Gad’s Senior drama students are putting on a performance on Thursday 30th January, from 6.30-7.15pm in the school theatre – and everybody is invited!
To mark the end of their exams, the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) cohort will present a series of sketches for family, friends, classmates and friends of Gad’s.
The show celebrates the commitment of students who have been receiving in-school exam tuition, since the start of the academic year, in LAMDA’s Acting and Devised Drama qualification.
A wide range of material will be presented by the 11-16 year-olds, including comedy, tragedy, satire and melodrama.
Gad’s Head of Drama, Ms Polly Bissett, will be on-hand to talk to Junior and Senior students, and their parents, who are interested in joining the school’s LAMDA contingent.
LAMDA is the largest statutory speech and drama awarding body in the UK and participants develop their vocal and performance skills, expand their knowledge of theatre, unlock imagination and creative thinking, build confidence and self-esteem, develop communication skills, make friends and gain qualifications.
Ms Bissett and her LAMDA students look forward to seeing some of you next week and thank you for your support.Posted on
