Our new Computer Science cohort is preparing for the three-year GCSE course by completing a transition workbook during the summer break.

Head of Computer Science, Miss Tanya Newman, said: “School may be out for summer but I’m pleased to report that my class will be finding out more about the syllabus and learning objectives.

“The classmates have worked well in years seven and eight and I want to make sure their enthusiasm for the subject continues and the transition to Key Stage Four is a smooth one.”

The 12-13 year-old students have been set the research and practical challenges to refresh their existing knowledge and give them insight into the new and diverse topics they will be learning about next term.
