Our youngest students celebrated the start of their learning journey with friends and family at the Gad’s Nursery prize giving service.
The informal ceremony, in the school’s theatre, saw the three to four-year-olds entertain proud mums and dads with a series of uplifting and upbeat songs, accompanied by Gad’s Director of Music on piano.
Headmaster, Mr Paul Savage, congratulated the classmates on their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the year, before handing-out academic, community, sporting and form prizes.
Head of Kindergarten, Miss Victoria Wilson, congratulated the children on their successes and spoke warmly about KN’s year: “Children flourish and learn when in a happy and secure environment.
“We are lucky to have our Nursery set in Dickens’ orchard, and our very own Forest School, to encourage independence and a love of learning in a natural environment.”
Many of the children will move-up to Gad’s reception class in the Autumn.
