The University for the Creative Arts (UCA), welcomed Year 9 and 10 Gad’s students to a careers workshop, following its partnership with the school to train and inspire the creative talents of its students.
The Gad’s cohort was given a tour of the Rochester campus and found out more about the post-GCSE courses on offer, from foundation degrees to an extended diploma.
The highlight of the day was the university’s showcase graduation exhibition which features students’ work from disciplines including graphic design, fashion and textiles, digital animation and photography.
Gad’s Head of Careers and Work-related Learning, Miss Sameena Rana, said: “The day was a fantastic opportunity for our younger Seniors to find out more about the extraordinary breadth of creative courses on offer at UCA.
“UCA continues to support and guide our GCSE creative arts students with the development of portfolios while providing careers advice and support in the fields of art, business and technology.”
