Gad’s students spent a day watching, and playing cricket at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, in Canterbury.
Thirty Seniors took part in a celebration of sport, organised by Kent County Cricket, the highlight of which was seeing a Kent v Somerset match.
Throughout the day, the Gad’s cohort joined other school children for a specialist county club coaching session.
Gad’s Fencing Coach, Miss Sarah Ellis proudly reported Y9’s Piers C and Max C, of Year 7, the highest ranking in the speed gun activity.
Miss Ellis said: “At Gad’s we pride ourselves on providing all of our students, from three to 16-years-old, as many sporting opportunities as possible.
“The day was a fantastic way to engage those who may have never played the sport and encourage and enthuse our many eager cricketers at Gad’s.”
