In a week of celebrating the life and works of Charles Dickens, our Y2 classes sketched the great author’s former home, their very own school, Gad’s Hill Place.

The six to seven-year-olds spent time studying the Victorian mansion before producing some very impressive and detailed drawings.

K2P form tutor, Mr Mike Patey, said: “The children have been learning about Dickens’ novels and how he lived his life and today’s combined art and history workshop really helped bring all our lessons to life.”
