Year six student Charlie and the whole of the Junior School, watched ‘Aladdin’ at the cinema last week, ahead of the Junior School production this summer.
Cheeky chap Charlie is cast as villainous viper-yielding sorcerer Jafar and really enjoyed seeing his character brought to life on the big screen.
Head of Junior School, Mrs Glynda Cullen, said: “The children have worked so hard in drama lessons, rehearsing for their show, so what better to do on the last day of term than treat them to a trip to see the Disney version.
“As well as having great fun, our students were able to pick-up acting tips and get to know the characters’ mannerisms and personalities – I’m sure parents, teachers and friends are just as excited as we are to see the Gad’s version of the all-singing, all-dancing classic folk tale.”
Every Junior School child plays a part in the musical, which runs from the 2nd to 4th July in the school theatre – tickets will be on-sale soon.
