Year two classmates put on a mini musical show for proud parents – all before morning lessons!

The six to seven-year-olds performed an upbeat piece that they have been working-on in their weekly music classes with Director of Music Mr John Stone.

Mr Stone said: “Playing any instrument takes a lot of practice, and lots of patience!

“Today’s recital highlights the group’s confidence, co-ordination and concentration and I am very proud of them.”

Parents were invited to watch the youngsters to provide a snapshot of a typical music class – they were intrigued to learn their children are ambidextrous when playing a marimba.

Mr Stone went on to speak about how the students have been busy rehearsing songs for this week’s Mother’s Day service in their singing sessions.
