Three of our youngest Seniors took part in an extreme assault course, and organised a school cake sale, to help raise funds for a charity for chronically ill children and teenagers.
Shell students Charlotte, Ava and Faye teamed-up to train for and complete in a ‘Tough Mudder’ tournament, a series of physical endurance challenges that test mental as well as physical strength.
As well successfully completing ‘Mini Mudder’, the 11 year-olds also sold cakes at school to boost their impressive donation to local charity, ‘Share A Star’ to £565.
Head of Senior School, Mr Jack Tyler, said: “I am very impressed not only by the girls’ determination to finish such a gruelling event but also their compassion and team work.
“Between them, they continue to look for new ways to help others, showing a maturity far beyond their years – well done girls, everyone at Gad’s is very proud of you.”
