As part of our Year 8’s Science studies on light and the eye, two L4S students taught their classmates how to dissect an eye – under the watchful eye of our Head of Science!
Mrs Fletcher challenged the students to present what they had learned about the topic to the class, with Piers C. and Nathan D. choosing to demonstrate the dissection.
After their ‘superb’ presentation, other students, overseen by Mrs Fletcher, also performed the dissection.
Mrs Fletcher said: “The boys went above and beyond the lesson brief and I am impressed by their initiative and enthusiasm.
“Eye dissection is part of the A-level curriculum and it has really helped the students remember the parts of the eyes and understand its structure in more detail.”Posted on
