Mrs Ostrehan’s L4 maths set learned more about Pythagoras’ theorem in Gad’s glorious grounds this week.

The classmates used the equation to calculate missing lengths in a series of challenges set by their maths teacher and peers.

Mrs Ostrehan said:  “Visualising a maths problem helps students make sense of mathematical formulas.

“Working practically in teams means they remember methods and secure their understanding in many different topics but is particularly relevant when studying Pythagoras’ theorem.”
