Two Seniors have been awarded first place in an inter-schools art contest.

Heather B, who has just completed her GCSEs, and Freddie M, of U4B, ranked highest in their age groups in drawing category of the London and South East ISA Art Competition.

Head of Design Technology and Art, Mrs Masters said:  “I am thrilled for them and they thoroughly deserve their success.

“The pieces reflect their talent and dedication and are a testament to their hard work in art class.”

Heather’s winning piece was titled ‘Bond between mother and child’.  The 15-year-old was also runner-up in the sketchbook category.

Freddie’s entry, ‘Skull’ impressed the judges and he was announced winner of the KS3 classification.

Both will now go forward to the national competition.
