Pupils from J4 to Remove took part in the ISA London South athletics contest.

Read proud Head of PE Mrs Gunnill’s report:

We travelled to Bromley to participate in the ISA Athletics competition; 20 schools from the region competed and Gad’s was able to achieve some great successes:

Ollie L – 4th in the final of the Yr5 75m;

Maddie M – 4th in the final of the Yr4 60m;

Keira H – in the final of both the Yr5 75m and 150m.

Medals went to:

Keira H – 1st place Yr5 75m and 3rd place in 150m

The best team was from the Yr5 girls – Keira H, Evie S, and Scarlett E who came in 5th place.

Well done to all competitors – they all performed brilliantly and were great ambassadors for the school.

Keira went on to represent the London/South area at the National championships in Birmingham on 19th June where after a photo-finish she was awarded 2nd place in the Yr5 girls 75m sprint. She was disappointed not to gain 1st place as she won this last year in Yr4 – however she is determined to return next year and regain the title in Yr6!
