Year sixes form Gad’s Hill put on a series of fun events for students, friends and parents to raise money for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.
The Junior classmates organised a penalty shoot-out, wet sponge throwing and a cake sale and donated all of the just shy of £500 raised to the UK charity that strives to put an end to worldwide poverty.
Remove P student and Head of Gad’s Haig House, Ella Cox, said: “We wanted to do something that all ages would enjoy and get involved with.
“The football challenge proved popular with our Seniors and lots of dads took part too but my favourite part was helping the Nursery children decorate their own cakes.
“It’s our final year as Juniors and we have enjoyed the responsibility of arranging such a fun event for such a good cause.”Posted on
