Our Y6 and 5 netballers worked well together at a recent tournament against local schools.

Read Head of PE Mrs Gunnill’s match report:

Eight Remove and J5 children competed in the Cobham Hall Inter Prep/Junior Netball Tournament.

The girls played extremely well together, with Y6 Ella demonstrating strong centre play and classmate Puneet using her height to good advantage while shooting.

They were supported effectively by three J5 players, Kiera, who shot and moved around the court well and Grace and Emma who shared the Wing defence position. Remove’s Millie, Emily and Saffron also worked enthusiastically throughout.

The team opened their games with a convincing win of 4-1 against St Joseph’s, then had two defeats against the teams that came 1st and 2nd in the overall tournament.

The Gad’s squad rallied together to gain a good win against Meopham 4-0 and a narrow loss against Cobham Primary of 1-0. They finished their games with a strong win against Steephill of 3-1.

Well done to all players.
