Beatty Seniors took the shield for overall winners at this year’s sports day, and L5B’s Michael (Beatty) was awarded the coveted Senior Victor Ludorum.

Undefeated for five years, the Beatty squad scored 285 points, with Wellington close behind on 278 and Haig finishing on 265 points.

Although Haig was beaten on the day, the blues topped the league tables leading up the annual sports event after taking the lead in field events javelin, shot and discus.  Just one point separated front runner Haig (85) and Beatty (84) and Wellington were close behind on 82 points.

County cricketer Michael was awarded the Senior Victor Ludorum for his impressive performance on the sports field before and on the day.

U4B’s Zara (Wellington), who is a keen member of a Kent athletics team, won the Senior Victrix Ludorum.  She was praised for her dedication and sporting prowess as she received the top trophy.

Well done to the runners up for the Senior Victrix Ludorum and Senior Victor Ludorum:

Mary (Beatty), Jessica (Haig) and Lily (Haig);

Ed (Haig) and Billy (Haig).
