Y11 student Harriet Hammond has been awarded first place in a regional school competition.

Harriet, of U5B, entered the Independent Schools Association annual 2D drawing category and will now go forward to the national finals.

Her winning portrait is drawn in ballpoint pen (biro) and captures the expression of her much-loved grandfather.

The annual contest sees independent schools from across the country showcase their students’ artwork and share best practice and ideas.
