Gads youngest students are practising yoga as part of their after-school activities this term.
The three to four-year-old nursery classmates enjoy lots of extra-curricular clubs, such as craft, traditional games and painting.
The yoga class is taken by Nursery Manager Mrs Deborah Mills and her staff and features ‘animal’ stretches, nursery rhymes and traditional poses in short sessions.
Mrs Mills said: “The children are really enjoying taking part in something a little bit different.
“We are learning how to relax while having fun and working on our postures, as well as strengthening our muscles.
“They particularly enjoy playing ‘pass the squeeze’, which helps improve concentration and co-ordination skills.”
