Well done to our Kindergarten and Junior School Council, who raised £299.35 from a cake sale.

The School Council is a made up by a group of children from years one to six, who get together to make decisions about things that matter to them and their peers.

Each member is voted for by their classmates, after the candidate writes a letter explaining why they should be considered for a place.

The council will discuss what the money should be spent on at their next meeting in the Summer term.

K1 teacher Miss Wilson said:  “The children work really well together and take their responsibilities very seriously.

“They helped organize and run the event, and would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all the kind bakers at home, who provided so many delicious cakes on the day.”
