Gad’s Junior achievers receive their awards
The guest speaker, Mr Simon Kelner, Editor-in-Chief of The Independent presented the prizes and the School was also pleased that the Mayor and Mayoress of Gravesham, Councillor Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi and Mrs Manveen Kaur Dhesi, presided over the presentation.
Headmaster Mr. David Craggs said the evening’s purpose was to celebrate and acknowledge publicly the successes and achievements of all the prize-winners.
Head of Kindergarten and Junior School, Ms. Fiona McPherson, also thanked all of the teaching and support staff for their hard work and dedication.
Thursday’s ceremony also featured a review of the school’s activities during 2010-11, by outgoing Head of School Molly Hergest (pictured with Simon Kelner) and performances from many of the school’s talent young musicians and singers.
