Oh we do like to be beside the seaside ...

KG Tutor Mike Patey reports:

On Friday 18th June, K1 and K2 went to Joss Bay. They had a fun and informative day.

The day started with rock pooling, and the excitement at finding live crabs was very evident! The children also learnt about how a variety of seashore creatures use their shells to protect themselves.

In the afternoon, they had a fun and sandy time building a variety of sand sculptures. Miss Barr and Miss Ryan made a fantastic sand turtle. It was lovely to hear the children discussing their ideas for their 'Sand Cities'. A super day was had by all!
