Not your typical trip to Bluewater
A trip to Bluewater shopping Centre usually involves popping into the GAP or maybe a trip to the cinema.
But on Sunday at 8am, 30 students from Gad’s Hill School, dressed in their P.E kit and trainers,lined-up with over 350 runners for a 2km race around the lake and roads.
Pupils from the Reception class up to year 10 took part in this annual event. Mrs Black and Miss Bassett joined the pupils, offering support to the younger ones as well as trying to keep up with them!
Everyone completed the run in less than 12 minutes with big smiles on their faces and received a medal and goody bag.
There was also a 10km race for the more serious runners, ably completed by the Headmaster and parent Mr Cientanni.
