The Knights of K1 and K2

On Monday 10th May, K1 and K2 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Leeds Castle. In the morning, they took part in 'The Swan Princess' literacy workshop. All of the children took on roles and, aided by some excellent costumes, acted out the story wonderfully. Members of staff were not exempt from the acting and played the soldiers!

After lunch, each class had a guided tour of the castle and were taught about life in the middle ages. Some of the children were shocked to learn that a long time ago, boys their age would have worn dresses! This was followed by a superb 'World of Wings' flying demonstration. The children were beautifully behaved and a fantastic day was had by all.
