Summer Term Begins !

Welcome back to what promises to be another excellent term at Gad’s. For some of you the journey back to school will have been long, particularly if you spent anytime abroad!

As always there has been plenty of activity going on during the holidays, most noticeable is the obstacle course, located next to the jungle gym, along with a brand new climbing tower and slide, as an addition to the play equipment.The obstacle course will add a new an exciting dimension to our CCF and PE training.

Congratulations to Mrs. Gunnill who took part in the Brighton Marathon during the break, she completed the 26 miles in just over 5 hours, despite having excruciating cramp from mile 16. She is an inspiration to us all and we will no doubt hear the full story from her in the next couple of weeks.

Events to look forward to this term include our annual sports days, CCF annual camp at Wathgill, the 140mile coast to coast cycle ride, the BTEC Music concert, numerous drama performances and of course the end of term Prize Giving Services.
