K1 and K2 are spellbound at the theatre

On Friday 5th March, K1 and K2 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Orchard Theatre in Dartford to see Room on a Broom. The story is based on the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler and tells the tale of a witch, a cat and her very crowded broomstick!

You only needed to see the faces of the children as they were watching the performance to see what a truly magical experience it was for them to see a book being brought to life in such a wonderful manner.

Afterwards, the children talked enthusiastically about the experience.

‘I thought it was excellent’ commented Arjun.
‘The play was super because the dog was very funny’ said Phoenix.
‘The dog was funny and cute’ was Lainey’s view.
‘I liked the cat because she was funny’ said Hannah.
All the children were wonderfully behaved and had a very enjoyable morning.
