The School Choir Welcomes in Christmas at Dickens World.

A huge thank you to all the students and parents who joined us at Dickens World on Saturday for out Christmas Carol performance. Fifty six members of the school took part in the event, entertaining the public for two and a half hours. For those that were there it would have been hard not to feel the Christmas spirit as the children sang under the huge Christmas tree in the court yard at Dickens World.

Charles Dickens, who lived and died at Gad’s Hill, has perhaps become the man who created Christmas as we know it today, particularly through his novel ‘ A Christmas Carol’. So it seemed even more appropriate for the school’s fantastic choir to perform at Dickens World during the festive season.

The choir will now move on to perform at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre from 2pm on Friday 11th December and we welcome anyone who would like to come along and join in the carols as well as picking up some Christmas presents !
We will continue to raise money for ‘Help for Heroes’, the charity that supports injured service men and woman from all three of our armed forces, at Hempstead Valley on Friday.
