If you go down to the woods today ...

Despite the awful weather local families spent the afternoon enjoying a teddy bears picnic at the school last week. What should have been a picnic in the grounds was quickly moved to the school hall, where parents and children were entertained with a nursery rhyme sing along, face painting and strawberries and cream.

Towards the end of the afternoon the sun came out and everyone was able to enjoy the schools beautiful grounds, along with a bounce on the bouncy castle and a play on the jungle gym.

The picnic was followed by the Mayor of Gravesham’s annual garden Party. 300 guests enjoyed canapés and Pimms in the conservatory, with people venturing out on to the back lawn between thunder storms!
