Gad’s parents enjoy a spectacular night out!
Friday night was Bollywood Night for 100 Gad’s Hill Parents. The event, arranged by The Friend’s of Gad’s Hill, took place at the Rochester and Cobham Golf Club. Prior to the event parents were given the opportunity to hire traditional Indian costumes and jewellery, as well as attending a Henna painting evening. On the night guests tucked into a delicious Indian feast and were entertained by the Jagnu Bhangra Group, who performed some classical Indian dance.
Congratulations should go to parents Audrey Cavalier – Tej and Rosie Basi, it was their brilliant idea and fantastic organization that made the event such a success. The night raised £1,000 half of which will go into the Friend’s fund for the school; the other half will be divided equally between this year’s three house Charities CLAPA, NYCPE and Demelza Children’s Hospice.
If you would like to get involved with the Friends and help to raise important funds, not only for the school, but for local and national charities as well, contact Trudi Osborne via the school office.
