Re: Parents Evenings for L4th, U4th

There will be three Parents Evenings during this term. We have done this to enable as many parents as possible to attend. The dates and times of the parent’s evenings are as follows: -

Wednesday 20th January 2010 5.00pm – 8.00pm L4th, U4th (and U5)
Tuesday 26th January 2010 5.00pm – 8.00pm L4th, U4th (and U5)
Thursday 4th February 2010 5.00pm – 8.00pm L4th, U4th (and U5)
Parents are invited to bring their children with them if they wish. Pupils benefit enormously when they are able to receive constructive feedback and are involved in decisions regarding their education. However, whether they attend is a matter for you and your child. Pupils attending are required to wear school uniform.

The Parent’s evenings will enable you to discuss, with the child’s form teacher or for older children with their individual subject tutors, your child’s progress and development at the school. In order to make the evening run smoothly we need to operate some form of appointment system. Senior school children are taught by a larger number of specialist subject tutors, and therefore, your child will have to make appointments over the next two weeks with their subject tutors on your behalf with the enclosed form. Please write on the top of the form your child’s name and the evening that you wish to attend. Your child will need to bring that to school to make appointments on your behalf for their subject tutors.
