Shells check out cheeks in first Science lesson

Our new Year Sevens found out more about cells in their first Gad’s Science lesson.

Working in groups, the classmates viewed their own cheek cells after learning how to work a microscope.  They made microscope slides, using a special dye to make the cells show-up more easily.

The Shells went on to study animal cells and Head of Science Mrs Fletcher is pleased to report they are now able to name the different parts.
