J3 makes festive gifts in first DT lessons

Year three classmates have finished their first Design and Technology (DT) projects, just in time for Christmas.

The seven and eight-year-olds designed and created candle holders during DT lessons this term, using the school’s specially-equipped workshop classroom.

Head of DT and Art, Mrs Masters said:  “The children really enjoyed making their very-own products and using the coping saw for the first time to cut out their artwork.

“I’m confident mums and dads will be really impressed when they open their beautiful hand-crafted gifts on Christmas Day.”
