Good-natured Gad’s siblings help poorly friend fund medical treatment

Gad’s brother and sister Jack and Laura Robison have raised more than £300 for a young boy who desperately needs cancer treatment.

The siblings, from Hartley, are supporting the ‘Save our Jack’ fundraising effort – a charity donation appeal set up to help raise the £250,000 needed to send Jack, 12, to America for pioneering treatment for kidney cancer.

Laura, 15, and Jack, 13 organised and ran a cake sale after school, with the help of classmates and teachers.

Gad’s Headmaster David Craggs said:  “We are always happy to help good causes in any way we can and, as always, our parents, friends and catering team were generous with their contributions and support.

“Laura and Jack took were instrumental in their efforts before and on the day and I am proud of their mature and caring attitudes to helping their friend.”
