Gad's Hill year five student Sienna Bromley

Gad’s schoolgirl wins role in West End

Year five Gad’s Hill student Sienna Bromley will star in Les Miserables this summer.

Sienna, who has just turned 10 and lives in Chatham, secured the coveted role after auditioning with hundreds of other hopefuls.

She will play the part of Eponine, a pampered child who turns into a ragged and impoverished teenager, at the Queen’s Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, London.

A talented actress and singer, Sienna dances with the English Youth Ballet and will also appear in The Nutcracker this year.

Class teacher Mrs Glynda Cullen said:  “It is a fantastic achievement and everybody at Gad’s is thrilled for Sienna.

“She works hard in school and deserves every success – I am very much looking forward to watching her.

Headmaster David Craggs added:  “We are always proud of our students’ accomplishments, both in and out of school.

“Sienna is very much involved with music and drama at school and to appear in such an iconic musical is a memory I am sure she will treasure for many years to come.”
