Children as young as three dressed to impress at a special parade held at the independent school in Higham, to celebrate World Book Day.
The nursery classes joined the Kindergarten and Junior students at a catwalk show in the school hall where classmates, and their teachers, took a turn on the runway dressed as book characters.
Many of the outfits had been hand crafted by the students themselves and one form opted to dress as their favourites from a book they had been reading in class.
Headmaster David Craggs said: “Reading really helps bring imaginations to life.
“I am very impressed by the many creative and colourful creations we have on display today, and most importantly the children have all read the book that their character is from.”
