U5 boys have a go at Footgolf

Our Upper 5th boys tried their hands, or should that be feet, at Footgolf – a new and exciting sport.

Playing on the dedicated course at The Strand, Gillingham the group made good use of their footballing skills and golfing tactics and achieved several pars and even a few birdies.

The object of the game is to get the ball into the hole using only your feet in the fewest number of shots possible.

Games teacher Mr Jelfs reported the boys thoroughly enjoyed the experience and many are planning to return with family and friends soon.

The day was part of a challenging sports schedule for the classmates – it follows a fitness course at a local gym and a six week cycling course at the Cyclopark.
